The New York Giants continued to be the Dallas Cowboys’ kryptonite on Sunday Night Football on December 11th. Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. took an Eli Manning slant pass 61 yards and outran the Dallas secondary in the third quarter to give the Giants the lead. That was all New York needed, as their defense stifled the sensational rookie tandem of quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliot.
It’s the second time this season the Giants have bested the Cowboys. The Giants are responsible for the Cowboys’ only two losses, as their record currently stands at 11-2. Meanwhile, the Giants are currently sitting at 9-4. With three games left to play, it’s still possible for the Giants to win out and reclaim the division, if the Cowboys lose 2 of their next 3 games. Still, that’s unlikely considering the Cowboys have played such good football all season long. The Giants finish the season playing the Lions, Eagles and Redskins. The Cowboys complete their schedule with bouts against the Buccaneers, the Lions and the Eagles.
